(1) Oze Asian Skunk Cabbage Hike<\/p>\n

The largest highland marshland is known for alpine plants such as the\u00a0Asian skunk cabbage. The threshold is a bit far, but this\u3000course is good\u00a0even for children and seniors.<\/p>\n

\u2606Meeting Time\/Place<\/strong>: 9:30 Aizu Line Aizu-Kogen-Oze-Guchi Station Ticket Gate
\nWe will take a bus at 9:40.<\/p>\n

The buses are not running frequently so we cannot wait for the next bus.<\/p>\n

\u2606Train<\/strong>: If you are coming from Asakusa, take the 6:30 Tobu Line limited\u00a0express train from Asakusa Station (going towards Aizu-Tajima). This\u00a0arrives at Aizu Line Aizu-Kogen-Oze-Guchi Station at 9:23.<\/p>\n

\u2606Course<\/strong>: Numayama-Toge Bus Stop – Numayama-Toge Observation Deck – Oe\u00a0Marsh – Kobuchi-Tashiro Juncture – Visitor Center – Kamappori Marsh – Oe\u00a0Marsh Juncture – Numayama-Toge Observation Deck – Numayama-Toge Bus Stop
\nWe will take a bus at 15:50.<\/p>\n

\u2606Train<\/strong>: If you are going back to Asakusa,\u00a0 take the 18:06 Aizu Line\u00a0limited express train from Aizu-Kogen-Oze-Guchi Station (going towardsAsakusa). This arrives at Tobu Line Asakusa Station at 21:05.<\/p>\n

Gather at Funabori Station: 13:00
\nGo to the river 13:10\u2028River Clean Up: 13:30-17:00
\nRelaxing riverside: 17:00-17:30
\nReturn to station: 17:30<\/p>\n

RIVER CLEAN UP:\u2028Gather at FUNABORI Station (Shinjuku Line) outside the\u00a0ticket gate at 13:00, and then go to the Arakawa River and pick up trash\u00a0along the river bank for about about 3 to 3 and half hours.<\/p>\n

INFO:\u2028If you come late, it will be about a 25-min walk to our location\u00a0on the river at the waterline between the Shinjuku Line train bridge and\u00a0the Kasaibashi Bridge. Also call James (the organizer)\u00a0 090-1847-5075<\/strong> if\u00a0there are any problems finding us.<\/p>\n

RAIN:\u2028In the event of light or medium rain this event will NOT be\u00a0cancelled as we will use rain ware and take cover as necessary. In the\u00a0event of heavy rain\/strong winds (e.g., typhoon conditions) or lightning\u00a0then the event will be cancelled or stopped if already in progress.<\/p>\n
