There are many groups which conduct outdoor events and social development work in the Tokyo area. What makes JAMBO unique among these? JAMBO is THE ONLY group whose purpose is to provide fun activities for people while, through these activities, providing support for the less fortunate. The \uffe51000 collected on the hikes is used to support environmental group in Tokyo, expand JAMBO programs, and as donations to international groups working with environmental protection and people\u2019s development, many of the groups which have limited funds because of their being located in areas which are considered too \u201cdistant\u201d for people to be concerned about (especially Africa). People can also enjoy the volunteer activities while doing hands-on productive work to better the environment. In short, by participating in JAMBO, you not only have a wonderful time, but are helping the natural environment and\/or people who are less fortunate than you are. \u00a0We also encourage people who have ideas and programs they\u2019d like to implement to do so.<\/p>\n

Our physical beings crave fun and personal interaction with others to some degree.
